Life² HQ

The mass-exodus of R&D staff from TransLife to the newly-formed Life2 was controversial to say the least, and was probably illegal besides.

As part of their efforts to lay low, and due to a lack of funds, the Valet project was reborn in the rented ground floor and basement of an old business tower.

When HEDRON acquired Life2, they bought the whole structure and left decisions about what floors to occupy and how to the researchers.
As Life2 settled into their now-permanent home, they began renting the higher, unoccupied floors to private interests of all sorts. (Maybe even some residents!)

The lobby and office spaces occupied by Life2 are decorated like they want you to Have Fun At Work :) . It isn't true, but the people at the top of the ladder aren't exactly sober-minded either.

Upper floors are likely renovated/redecorated/fundamentally changed/displaced by renters.
